Congratulations Hubba friends!

Our Great Lakes Food Hub has scored some significant recognition in the last few days.

This post is about a newly announced award by the Wallace Center at Winrock International to friends in our Great Lakes Food Hub Network, professionally known as the Hubbas.

I'm honored to be working with these good folks. Our Great Lakes Food Hub Network celebrates the achievements of our friends!

Many congratulations to Fred and Dr. Jifunza and family at Black Oaks Center for Sustainable Renewable Living, as well as Jason and Danielle and family at Gourmet Gorilla!!!

Two of the seventeen national Wallace Center award winners are founding members of our Great Lakes Food Hub Network.

"ARLINGTON, Va. (July 14, 2011) – The Wallace Center at Winrock International today announced 17 new awards it will grant under its Wallace Healthy Urban Food Enterprise Development (HUFED) Center.
